My Role: Producer

Year Started: 2020

Overview

I’m the producer and co-founder of On Wildlife, a podcast with nearly 150 episodes since its launch in 2020. Our mission is simple: to educate and inspire by taking listeners on immersive explorations of the animal kingdom. Each episode dives deep into a specific species, shedding light on its unique behaviors, habitat, and the challenges it faces.

We've had the privilege of featuring experts from renowned organizations like the World Wildlife Fund, National Wildlife Federation, National Geographic, Center for Biological Diversity, and more. On Wildlife ranks in the top 5% of podcasts globally, reaching listeners across the US, UK, Australia, Africa, and beyond.

My Role

As producer and co-founder, I play a pivotal role in shaping the podcast's creative direction and ensuring its smooth operation. Here's how I contribute:

  • Content Creation: I work closely with our host to craft compelling content for each episode, ensuring that our narratives resonate with our audience and drive home the importance of wildlife conservation.

  • Audio Production: From meticulous editing and mixing to coordinating interviews, I handle all aspects of audio production to deliver a polished listening experience.

  • Guest Booking and Outreach: Leveraging research and outreach efforts, I curate a roster of distinguished guests to provide diverse perspectives and insights.

  • Website Management: I take charge of our website, providing a hub of information and resources for our listeners to further engage with the world of wildlife conservation.
