Overview
Murder in HR is a Webby Award–winning fictional podcast presented by Wellhub and BambooHR and produced by Caspian Studios. The series blends dark comedy, workplace satire, and mystery, following a newly hired Director of Employee Experience who uncovers that her company’s true business is assassinations for hire. Across two seasons, the show uses cinematic sound design, scripted performances, and original music to create an immersive, fast-paced narrative experience that pushes the boundaries of branded fiction podcasting.
I supported Murder in HR across both seasons in a multifaceted creative role, contributing to the show’s sound, storytelling, and performances both behind the scenes and on mic.
My Role
I worked across multiple creative disciplines throughout the series, supporting the production. Here's how I contribute:
Music Supervision Support: As Assistant Music Supervisor, I helped select and shape the music used throughout each episode for both seasons, working to ensure the soundtrack supported the show’s tone, pacing, and narrative beats.
Voice Acting: I performed recurring and featured characters across the series, voicing a Meditation Host in Season 1 and the character Chloe Sparks in Season 2.
Original Music Composition: I composed, performed, and produced an original pop song featured in the show titled Everyday Is Friday, written specifically for the series and integrated into the story world.
